How to delete songs from a third generation Ipod Touch?

I lost my Ipod cable and I grew out of most of my songs. I downlouded the songs not from I tunes so they don't show up on itunes library app. Most off my songs are disney and I'm sooo emmbaressed. I got a 25 dollar itunes card so I will replace all off the song. I just need answers!!!! Please and thank you
