Why does my wirless internet keep disconnecting?

I have just installed a new router (d link dir 815 and a usb adapter xtreme n dual band) and my internet keeps dropping out. So frustrating as this is why I bought new router and adapter so this would stop happening and I could get connected from ipad etc. I have to keep resetting and pulling power cable out basically anything that will get me up and running again. Any ideas??
