Rift: Planes of Telara hype not true? (No WoW hatters please)?

I tried playing this game and it was exactly like World of Warcraft. The UI and the text is exactly like Warhammer Online and the mounts are from Warhammer. Can someone please give me a reason why this game is so far different from those games and how good is the end game content?
