Alice In Wonderland Dispute between Time and Mad Hatter?

What is going on between Time and the Mad Hatter. I am making a story off of Alice In Wonderland and Time plays a huge part in the book. I know it's always Tea time, but I didn't know if there was more of a story as to why it's always tea time
