Legal name change + school?

I'm in college right now and all of my information is linked to my first and last name. which i am changing the only name I'm keeping is my middle name. are they going to give me a new id code and e mail address? like my e mail address is First.last@acc.gmail.com or whatever and my id number is m######## my first name starts with an m so wouldn't they have to change it?
