Why did my Xbox Live account vanish?

Well, I was playing MW2 and my game was really, really laggy when finding a match, then it froze, so I rebooted the Xbox. Then I turned it on and my XBL profile was not there, and no, I did not put my acc on any "Free" XBL websites.
