Why do I get"can't play online if under 13 years of age"when making a command and conquer generals online acc.?

when I go to either command and conquer generals or c&c zero hour, it says that I can't make the account to play ONLINE (not network) if I am under 13. I am not under 13, how to fix that problem then???
